- Range if normal. Brief description. Attack value. Defense value. Range if unusual.
- Longer description.
- How to break out of it.
- What happens if the target hasn't broken out of it.
Changes
- Add a note to Evasive indicating that it is usable without the Close Combat Skill.
- Add a note to Hard Target indicating that it is usable without the Ranged Combat Skill.
- Add a note to Tenacious indicating that it is usable without the relevant combat Skill.
- Change Natural Armor to grant a bonus die on defense rolls.
- Change Natural Weaponry to grant a bonus die on Close Combat attack rolls.
- Change Aliens: Armor to grant a bonus die on defense rolls.
- Change Aliens: Energy Shield to grant a bonus die on defense rolls.
- Add "normally" to the Aliens: Mind Shield power ("an attack which normally bases the target's defense value (DV) on the target's Presence").
- Add "normally" to the Archetypes: Mind Shield power ("an attack which normally bases the target's defense value (DV) on the target's Presence").
- Add "normally" to the Esoteric Orders: Mind Shield power ("an attack which normally bases the target's defense value (DV) on the target's Presence").
- Add "normally" to the Gifts: Mind Shield power ("an attack which normally bases the target's defense value (DV) on the target's Presence").
- Should a Telepathically gifted Character not be able to defend himself against telepathic contact using will and power? Now the description only calls for Will.
- In ZeroSpace, can a Character with the Esoteric Power Stasis use their Power Attribute to defend, if they are Attacked by a Character with the Trait Time Theft and vice versa, since the abilities are effectively the same?
- Why is Reason the Attribute for Starship Combat and not Agility for Aiming weapons? Is it Possible to aim the Weapons manually?
- In the Trait Table the Arial trait is described with movement double the Ground speed, while in the Description it is the same speed as the Ground speed. Which one is the correct speed?
- Are Natural Ranged Weapons, like poison glands or corrosive Salvia possible, and should they be described under Natural Weapons?
- Is the Mind Link Power applicable to Groups, since the Description only says two participants.
- In ZeroSpace, why does Armor not Stack (even with diminishing Returns?) Where does the difference between Armor and Shields lie, since both are doing effectively the same, while shields are much more expensive. Is it just for flavour Reasons?
- In the Table for Gifts the description for Lightning Strike is not clear enough, it can be misunderstood to be used for both offense and defense, since it just says Combat rolls
- Exceptional Beauty is missing a Reference to the corresponding Trait (or does it Stack?)
- Unsettling is missing a Reference to the corresponding Trait (or does it Stack?)
- Can Team Player also be used in Combat, the description is not fully clear on that point, since it only says tasks.
- In ZeroSpace, Max Shields sounds mechanically wrong: If it is a Free Action, it can be activated after attacking for the Round, effectively always granting a Bonus Die since the effect ends with the beginning of the next round of the user. He Can Attack again now and reapply maximum shield energy. One Solution could be to allow the activation of Max Shields only at the beginning of a turn, before an attack is made.
- I do not see the meaning in Specializing on a Specific spaceship weapon, as is used as an Example in the Skills table, since the effect of spaceship weapons are not influenced by type but by range.
- How long is the close Range of Spaceships, since there is no real rule of thumb like an Arms length or the length of the arms and the weapon it holds. A Turbolaser or Railgun can have a significant reach, compared with personal weaponry.
- Powers which ignore normal defenses default to close range
ZeroSpaceRough Magic
- Area powers default to short range (10 meters), unless there is a prerequisite power with short (or greater) range.
ZeroSpaceRough Magic
- Mental powers default to short range (10 meters)
ZeroSpaceRough Magic
- Ranged powers default to medium range (50 meters)
ZeroSpaceRough Magic
- Add attribute examples for areas of expertise that are exceptions.
- Mix up the target number calculations so they aren't always 14.
- Find a synonym for "difficulty" when not used in the mechanical sense. Arduous?
- Update the rest of the tables
- Copy Equipment section to BB3 from Rough Magic and ZeroSpace
- "Value" applies only to "attribute", "action", "attack", "defense", and "difficulty"
- Bring back the Stolze section of GM Resources?
- Powers can have "Prerequisites" and "Follow through powers"
- Port BB3 changes to Jazz, where appropriate.
- Update Characters chapter in BB3.

Add Rank 0 row for Brawn (needed to determine how much a character can lift and move normally while carrying).Update Being Unskilled sections in the Skills and Actions chapters to note that combat uses the "Unskilled Task" rules.
New Complications
Musclebound
The character has greater strength than they are able to use effectively in combat. In hand-to-hand combat, the character's attack value is based on one-half of the character's Brawn (rounded down). The first time a musclebound character misses with a hand-to-hand attack during a game session, they receive one plot point. This plot point is lost if not used by the end of the game session.
New Advantages
Lightning Strike
A character with Lightning Strike can deal devastating blows using speed and finesse rather than brute force. When in close combat, the character may substitute their rank in Agility for their rank in Brawn when determining their attack value (AV). The player may choose which attribute to use on a case by case basis. This can reflect the character's advanced advanced martial arts training, their superhuman speed, the harnessing of the character's chi, or some other effect, depending on the specifics of the character's archetype and abilities.
Notes
- recalculate character costs and point levels for removing 1 attribute (removing Prowess and Accuracy, adding Power).
